UPS Rant

Another day...another rant....

I'm working on an illusion/prop, for my friend Marcus; who performs illusions for charities.

I needed some spring-clips and a short length of solid-pvc rod, for this project.

I went to my favorite supplier, McMaster Carr; and found what I needed.

Almost had a heart-attack when I saw the cost to ship said items...

Seriously????

I reached out to McMasterCarr, and they stated that since the pvc-rod is 5', there's a higher shipping rate.

WTF UPS????

I've ordered a hundred-pounds worth-of-steel, from vendors as far as Montana, and it usually costs me less than $100 to ship.

Needless to say, I just purchased the clips, for $7 shipping.
