Hanging Planters

So the usual theme here... I've got scrap metal laying about... and need to do something with it."

My wife gave me a great idea, mentioning that she wanted to have more plants out in front of our home.

I based my design off of something I saw at a local coffee shop.

Everything is built around angle-iron.

* Tip: A really cheap source of angle-iron, is bed-frames. If I see any on the curb, I make it a point to stop and take it. No shame here.*

The wood is cedar-board, from the usual big-box store. I'm a big fan of Menards

What's not obvious, is that I don't have soil sitting directly in the planters; rather there are resin-windowbox planters inside. The overall dimesions, for this project are based-around the size of these planter-boxes.
