Scrap Wood Storage

Everytime I work on some hair-brained project, I always end up with scrap-wood. These days, my lab/workshop is tight on space, so I need to find creative ways to use up space as efficiently as possible.

I borrowed this idea from Matthias Wandel, who does the most amazing things with wood.

The whole build was made from, you guessed it, scrap-wood. I bought the wheels, in bulk, from Surplus Center The bearings are just roller-skate-bearings; found at any sporting-good store.

Obviously the dimensions will vary, depending on where you're planning on stashing the thing.

I didn't want any bolts or anything exposed; getting snagged; so I used a forstner-bit, in order to hide the bolt-head, below the wood-surface.

It's always good to have a lab-assistant to tell you how to do things the right way. :)
